The TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Education offers learners the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the key issues, debates and inequalities in contemporary education as well as key theoretical perspectives. Learners will also gain an understanding on how to deal with these issues and disputes in education.
The course also involves looking at globalisation and international development, therefore, students will explore the various elements of a country’s education system and the impact of global contexts of education, including the implications of globalisation for teaching and learning.
The Level 5 will provide learners with in-depth knowledge of education, where students will also look at conceptual issues and debates on inclusion and Special Education Needs, by understanding legislation and policy on these matters, and gaining knowledge on a range of special needs.
Learners will further look into Research Methods in education and by the end of the course will have gained an understanding on how to carry out a research project, as well as how to write up, report and disseminate education research.
It is expected that learners will have successfully completed the TQUK Level 4 Education qualification; however, other comparable Level 4 programmes can be considered.
The qualification is suitable for learners of 18 years of age and above.
The total qualification time for this qualification is 1200 hours.
There are 300 Guided Learning Hours which are made up of real time contact time, guidance or supervision by a tutor or trainer.
Face to Face Learning – £5495 + VAT

Blended Learning – £2750 + VAT
The Blended learning route offers students a hybrid which combines our state of the art distance learning platform with intensive workshops.
Distance Learning – £2195 + VAT
Distance Learning puts you in the driving seat, it gives you ultimate flexibility allowing you to manage your learning journey using our extensive online resources.
Learners are expected to complete this qualification between 6 and 8 months.
The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.
All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a pass – there is no grading.
