What’s the course about?

Persuasion is everywhere in human interactions. If you can influence people who make decisions, you can make a positive difference. If you can’t, then you won’t. Simple facts.

There are times when you need to direct another person’s behaviour toward a specific course of action or a point of view; you want them to do what you want. This skill is critical when presenting to decision makers. Whether your goal is to sell, inform, motivate, train, entertain, or build goodwill, it’s your ability to persuade an audience that ultimately determines your degree of success or failure. These decision-makers could be management, colleagues, employees, customers, or peers. They may not be the “right” person or the “best” person – they just simply have the power.

In this course, we will give you some tools to improve your odds at getting that “Yes”.

David moved into the private sector in 2009 and owns a group of companies (The Holliman Holdings Group) based in the UK, USA, Middle East and South Asia. The companies offer a range of Education, Corporate Training, and consultancy services to educational institutions and governments across the globe including the United Nations.

The course is assessed through practical engagement, including, facilitation of learning in groups, giving feedback, identifying individual learning needs and facilitating learning by demonstration and one to one instruction. In order to qualify for the certificate Coaching participants must:

  • Fully attend and complete the programme
  • Demonstrate their coaching skills during the programme to a satisfactory level as specified by the lead facilitator
